The thoska is a student ID card, means of payment, semester ticket, library card and much more.

In order to be able to use the functions of the thoska, the university account must first be activated under https://service.tu-ilmenau.de/boarding/ must first be activated.

The Thoska can be topped up on the ground floor of the canteen (bar, EC) and in the Humboldt building (EC).
